we have arrive at maggie island and its is beuatiful shame about the weather thou! :( it is meant to have 320 days a year of sunshine we just managed to get one of the other days and after managing to get to our hostel pretty dry we decided to go on a walk since it wasnt the best day for sunbathing. we did the forts walk which had spectacular views but when its all raining you dont get to see 2 much and the famous koalas (fuzzy bums) that live here all hid away. ...

we decided to get up earlish and go for a walk around townsville. we underestimated its size and didnt pack our lunch (whoops) and ended up eating at 4 rather than risk a maccyd's. we had a yummy omlette a la mrs camm style however it dnt stick together so it was just lumpy egg, but tasted just as good. we walked along the strand which is a gorge waterfront walk way, had an icecream, topped up our tans and visited Kissing Point... we also did a bit of shopping....

date: 27th FEB-3rd March we arrived in Kalbarri and was met by our WWOOF host Butch who is American but used to live in England. he gave a quick tour of the town, which again is very small. the family live in a caravan inside a shed, very bizarre, along with moths spiders huge beetles snakes and god knows what else. goin for a shower is very difficult! today we went to the HMAS Sydney memorial located on top of a hill overlookin Geraldton. we had a tour guide who was readin off bits of paper lol was quite funny as there was nothin else to do (as pointed out by the local drunk who remarked "go to Kalbarri!!!") we went to a musuem of Western Autralia which actually was quite good and interesting we went back to the hostel, tried to avoid the Americans, and caught the Greyhound to Monkey Mia

and once again... we are in the Alice! stuck still. we decided to do the same as yest and go into town for a walk. its beggining to feel like groundhog day!. anyway we did some shopping and then saw steph and steve for the millionth time. said goodbye again! after beki decided that she wasnted to try her hand at painting so bought some acylic paints to mess about with and some equiptment. all a bit of a colour mess atm. after lazing about by the pool and having ...
