Day at sea on our way to Thailand
So the first thing on the news for our day at sea was the murder of the British couple in Thailand. It sounds as though another Brit is involved so we are not overly worried for our safety at all.
We had a really relaxing day at sea, the weather turned a bit though. Torrential downpours of rain sent people, who had been cloud bathing, scattering in many different directions. I was fine because I was in the pool riding the waves! David had to run in because he had been sitting out on deck reading.
It was quite choppy too, not what we class as rough but certainly rougher than it has been all cruise. I don't think it is rough until the bottles in the bars are being strapped down for safety!
Little little had a big few nights. She has met a lovely couple who used to be Mackams from Sunderland but have lived the last forty years in Sunderland. They seem to adore her a bit!
She has also been awarded a badge by Princess declaring that she is a VIP. No one other than Cruise ship staff has the badge she has on. Time to go now...we have just docked in Thailand the port of Laem Chabang. (Lam shabam!)
We will update tonight after we return. We have a 2 hour journey to look foward to now into Bangkok.
