You know that you're going to like somewhere when you check-in and they are walking round giving everyone free shots... Followed by a free drink for filling a form in online. Followed by two friendly Canadians buying a round of whiskey before they leave. You know when you just get that feeling that you've done the right thing?

With our extra addition to the team (Lianne) we headed to the colosseum and utilised self-timer to get some photos. As silly as ever we did the touristy thing and found a pretty looking restaurant with tiny portions and a good view. The food was fine but we needed more a little later on!

After pledging to have a quiet night, we shared a bottle of prosecco. Lucy went in search of beer pong and after awhile Lianne and Beanie went down to find her - surrounded by friendly fellows and a competitive spirit we were set for the night. We met some really great people - some Canadians, Australians, Brits and a Russian. At midnight the little underground room turned in to a mini club and we danced the night away. Perfect.
