We left our Croatia apartment about 7:30 yesterday morning and got across the border into Bosnia with no wait and no fuss! Easiest crossing yet!
It isn't very far from one place to the other, but the route takes you through the mountains and NUMEROUS small villages, so the speed limit is between 40-60 kph, which means SLOW. Which explains why we got there at 2:30.
We arrived into Sarajevo and made a wrong turn and ended up going on the steepest road we've ever been on--and it was narrow, too--in a neighborhood. At one point, I thought we were going to slide backwards, it was so scary. And to top it off, the google directions were wrong and we did all that for nothing!! We eventually found the right road, and met our Airbnb host without any more issues.
The apartment is on the 7th floor of a large complex and we have about 10 keys to get in!! We do have a private garage parking place, so that's some comfort. I hope. LOL
It's chilly now as I write this, 59--but expected to be in the upper 80's this afternoon. We have a food tour in Old Town Sarajevo today that begins at 4:00. Fingers crossed it works out and we can find our way there. :)
