Today was spent cruising along the Danube towards Vienna. We went through a lock that was way above us--way cooler than what we experienced going through the Panama Canal. Sorry for not updating until now, we have just been busy sightseeing and planning what to do next! So--We both had downloaded a Rick Steves walking tour of Vienna, which we decided to do prior to our food tour. It was another really good overview of the city. We traveled most of the day yesterday to get from Prague to Vienna. We caught a train that went about 100mph on average, and the trip still took almost 5 hours. The train station in Vienna is really nice, and we were able to catch the subway that took us right to the apartment--saved a lot of money since we didn't have to use a taxi! Our last day in Prague was spent doing a Rick Steve's audio guided walk. We started off in Wenceslas Square and meandered all around New Town and then Old Town. The walk took us to some of the off the beaten trail sights, which we both enjoyed. I think it lasted about 3 hours. Once we finished, we decided to visit the Mexican food place one last time that was nearby. It was great! We got back to the apartment and began getting ready to leave for Vienna.
