Today is a shore day, we are in Huatulco, Mexico. Pronouncing the name of this place had been the hardest thing! Finally someone told us it's "wha-tool-ko." We were docked on the starboard side, which is ours, so we got to see the village. Lots of resorts here, and our guide for the day told us that in the off season, rooms go for about $200 a night. At sea all day again today. Pam and I had a bit of tummy trouble this morning--fortunately for me, mine cleared up late morning, but she needed to stay close to "home" all day. :(( Good thing we didn't have any excursions today! The port of San Juan Del Sur is a tendered one, meaning we just pull up offshore and drop an anchor. Our tour group wasn't the first to leave the ship, but that was okay with us. We arrived at Punteranas, Costa Rica a few minutes after 8:00 am. We were all ready to go for a full day of touring, beginning with a bus ride for roughly 90 minutes on all kinds of roads.
