Pam and I headed out for the ship's gym about 7:30. After scoring two treadmills next to each other, we made our way to the Horizon Court for breakfast. I have the Princess Messenger app on my phone and it allows me to text Rich without using my own plan! Pretty cool! So I told him where we were sitting and it wasn't long before both he and Mike joined us. We cleaned up and then Pam and I went to a jewelry talk--this guy named Pete is a princess shopping expert. He knows all the best places to purchase diamonds, sunglasses, etc. We ate a salad in the buffet for lunch and then went back to our rooms. I was so sleepy, and took a nap. Next on the agenda was Bingo! We shared a card and I only needed one number for $150 pot but lost. After bingo, It was formal night, so we got gussied up and went to dinner. We were supposed to be seated at a table for 4, especially after the fiasco from the night before, but we were at a table for 6! Arghh. We told our waiter and he simply removed the extra settings and nobody joined us. It was still aggravating though, because the table was bigger and we weren't across from each other. Oh well. After dinner, we made our reservations at the Bayou Cafe, where the Maitre D was very nice and accommodating. We then went to get our VIP cards from Pete, the jewelry guy and he convinced us to join him and his fiancé for a special tour of Cartegena, where I want to buy an emerald. The price is only $15 per person, which is a lot less than the tour we'd booked with Princess! Fingers crossed that it works out! The 7th game of the World Series was supposed to be on the big screen, so Rich and I changed out of our formal clothes and found a couple loungers to watch the game. Something was wrong with the satellite, though, because the game had begun but wasn't being shown. We waited for about 30 minutes before we bailed out and went to our room. I heard the next morning at breakfast that it eventually came on and we missed a great game! Darn! Pam and Mike went to the Princess theater and said the Motown show was good. We will be at sea all day tomorrow, too! Hopefully, the water will be calmer, it's been a bit choppy today!
