Julie drove us all over town shopping for all the stuff we'd forgotten…like the charger for the little Canon Powershot camera. How could we forget that? It was on the RV list and everything. Ah well…
Then we all went up to Solitude Ski Resort. There’s a beautiful lake there. We took a walk around the lake. The kids gathered flowers, pinecones, etc. for their books. Weather was beautiful. It was a a very relaxing, kick-back day.
Left at 5pm heading east on I-80. Saw the sign for Park City and decided to see what it was like there. We were like moths drawn to the light. Should we turn? Yeeesss, turn. Have always heard so much about Park City and it’s all true. Very upscale. Pulled into an RV campground at 7:30 pm and decided to explore the town tomorrow.

Kim & Jerry Orloff Outstanding... glad you aren't a slave to the computer! It sounds like you both are really having a vacation, in the best sense of the word. Keep it up and enjoy every day, every new view. --Kim & Jer
Brudder Sis1 $ BILGlad to see you are taking your time and enjoying the trip. Computers...bah. My expectations were for a timely blow by blow day by day travelog, so I guess that wasn't in the plan. I await the "wishing your were here" postcard. If it took 10 days to get to Chiago on the Interstate, you'd better reserve another month to come home via 66.Ruth's. Yes, if this is the same resturant in SLC I am thinking of, we ate there, in fact I think this is where we had Julie's rehersal dinner. Park City. Julie took us there for dinner one evening. Renee got carsick on the way there. Bummer. I suppose by now you have arrived (and exited) Chicago. In my mind, there is not much to see there. Perhaps Bill went to Wrigley Field, and there is the John Hanckock building, and the lake. That's about it.
belinda You're in Chicago now!! Awesome!! I do have one request - if you *do* eat out, eat at local places, part of the fun should be trying out the local cuisine, good, bad, or indifferent. And don't forget to take pictures of the desserts. :) xoxo b
shannon McCain there's a john hancock building there? can you kick it for me please? i don't like them...thanks! :)
Leigh Ann Love this pic. What in the world is green juice? Can you really see the curvature of the earth on the great salt flats?
