Barbara was feeling much better this morning, so we went into Mount Airy. The locals call it Mayberry, just about as much as they call it Mount Airy. We found our way to Main Street, and the first place we went to was Floyd's City Barber Shop. (His name isn’t Floyd, it’s Russell. Well, we're still here. Barbara wasn’t up to leaving early this morning, so we’re here another day. We’ll see tomorrow. I went grocery shopping today. Uhhhmmm. That’s it.

Barbara is officially sick. I think she has what I had two weeks ago. I guess I didn't get mine from her. Oops. She woke up this morning around four o'clock, coughing. I was up around 4:30, and we’ve been sitting, staring at each other ever since (it’s now 7:30 pm). We’ll try to go into Mount Airy tomorrow morning, then move on to Asheville, depending on how she feels.
