Today was much better: we did a lot more than just drive.
We called a Ford dealership in Columbus to get an appointment to install a new mud flap. We’re going in at 10:30 tomorrow morning.
We drove a lot and saw a lot of road work. At least my tax dollars are getting something useful done.
We stopped in at Vandalia, OH, to see Barbara’s cousin, Tom. He is part of a model train club, and he volunteers at their model train museum. We spent over an hour there watching the trains run and talking about family. But then it was on to Columbus.
After we got settled in the RV park, we went grocery shopping. We lead a madcap life.

Earle Glad you made it this far. Also glad you'll get your mudd flap taken care of. I emailed dinner location and mapquest link for directions to you. See you both at 4 fo r dinner & visit! After dinner, it's quartet & chorus rehearsal!! :) Can't wait to see ya!!
Earle The Lead from my quartet is a Model Train fanatic!! He has a great setup in his basement and is an officer with the organization as well. I'm sure you can chat about that some too! :)
Rich Hold on Bil. No pictures of Tom's model railroad?? You didn't say much about it either. DId you get to meet Helen? So how much catching up on thirty years of lost family history can you do in only one hour?
