B&Bs Antipodean Tour
Arrived here at FourWinds Villa about 6pm on the 11th. Fantastic place to stay, surrounded by birdlife and lovely view across the valley to the sea.
Explored Byron the following day and then took a walk from Clarke's Beach, round to Wategos Beach and the lighthouse. Highlight was seeing two humpback mothers with calves in the bay, migrating south. Back to FourWinds for a spot of birdwatching, two Wedge-tailed Eagles nesting nearby entertained us as they moved up on the thermals. Pigged out in the evening on BBQ.
Today, 13th is warmer so after trip into Byron have spent most of the day round the pool, which was a struggle but we are getting the hang of it.
Off to Noosa tomorrow.
