Day 2 of our 'WORLD' tour. Today it was Movieworld. Lucky enough to be able to walk from our caravan park so that we didn't have to fight the traffic. Costly today however we bought the rockstar 'fast track' pass. This allowed us an hour and a half of walking straight to the front of the line, do not pass go! Definitely recommended. Today it was time to hit our first theme park. The Millers were available and Dreamworld was our destination. School holidays on the Gold Coast so it took us about 40 minutes to travel the couple of km's. We must have taken the long way! School holidays at Dreamworld, people everywhere and queue's were long so unfortunately we didn't get to do all the rides we wanted. Maybe we should have paid the $50 queue jumper fee! Headed to the amazing Australia Zoo for the day today. We were lucky enough to be entertained by the one and only Bindi Irwin, firstly dancing and singing with the Jungle Girls, then doing an animal and croc feeding show. After lining up for lunch we then went for a long wander around the zoo. Very big and very amazing - could spend another day there if we could. After seeing off the McBain's we caught up with Ray & Vonney (Kaos) at their beuatiful house. A great catchup, Vonney was super excited to see us and the kids. Both look so healthy, happy and well living the life on the coast. Quieter day as we get ready to go to the Australia Zoo tomorrow. Up reasonably early for some bacon & eggs and much neeeded coffee. We then got ourselves ready (Stevo's & Macca's) and headed accross the punt to North Shore Beach. Let our tyres down a little then ventured down the beach for some beach driving. Not sure if it was the low profile tyres (Azz's Amarok), too much tyre pressure or sand too soft however Azz got bogged about half way down.
