We left Alice Springs today and travelled north to Devils Marbles. The landscape was once again fairly barren.
The Devils Marbles were spectacular. About 1700 million years ago molten magma squeezed through ancient sandstone of the earth's crust and cooled into hard granite, the Devils Marbles granite.
