I don't know if I mentioned that I had cousins in UK but I do, and they are very cool!
I have two elder boy cousins called Neil and Bruce who both have long term girlfriends/wives, Ali and Leanne, so I basically have four cousins in the UK.
Neil and Ali live in London and they invited Tim and I over for a weekend to show us how to party like to locals, which we very much agreed to be a part of.
So after a nice quite Saturday we caught the train into the south of the city, a place full of beautiful suburban villas, collections of restaurants and grocery shops, and long stretches of parks. This is obviously where most young Londoners live.
We had dinner at their beautiful apartment, where we met the most spastic cat in the world, and then we went out to a much less touristy than the areas we had been at night. We had some great cocktails and drinks and they took us from pub to club! We met some of their friends while we were there and it was funny. Although most of the people we were with where 30 plus, they were all so CRAZY, much more than my friends!
The night ended when tim made friends with some balded bikey called squid who wanted to take him for a motobike ride, a little awkward.
The next day was baking hot. Well, not for us ( it was about 23 degs), but for brits as soon as one ray of sunlight is shining they all bolt out of their houses and offices and pull of their clothes trying desperately to get a tan.
We went to a huge park called Clapton Commom for a picnic lunch, which was exactly what everyone else in South London was also doing. It was a packed as bondi beach, and everyone was just as naked, all walking around in swimmers! It was quite funny really, Tim and I felt a little sorry for them!
Anyway after lying in the sun of ages, playing a great game of French Cricket and ulitmate frisbee, it was already 6pm, and Neil and Aliwere ready to drink again! We went to a pub for a bit, tim and I stuck to water.
After all this we went to a curry resturant for dinner - WHICH WAS AMAZING
All these years when we go out for a nice dinner its always italian or mexican or australian. Little did I know, WE WERE MISSING OUT ON INDIAN!
WOW, how annoying!
After such a nice sunny day we headed back to the apartment and watched a film before crashing early as Tim and I had to get up rather early to go to brighton!
