Wow! First day of top deck! We woke up bright an early, that's 530 abs headed downstairs to meet everyone! It was a pretty small tour which is BRILLIANT, no waiting for people, a full seat to ourselves etc! We met our tour guid too, Carley, who was really cool rock chick from Melbourne. We woke the next day after 14 hours of sleep. Not kidding. And after breakfast we hopped to the shopping centre to pick up last supplies for topdeck. We also got a little tour from Jill of the surrounds for when I cone back. By then it was almost time to go to clink 78 hostel for the night! Not much to mention here. After cleaning up in the morning we grabbed our bags and walked to where our shuttle was picking us up near times square. It was pouring with rain again which is ironic, rained when we it here and when we left, much be sad we are leaving! The drive to the airport was longer than expected and I was glad we chose a shuttle over a train or bus, we reflected on out time at camp with Tom and amber who managed to get on the same flight! Crazy...

Well, last real day in NYC and I was already feeling depressed. But, franno and I wanted to make to most of it so we went back onto the red bus and did the uproute tour in the morning! This tour was probably better than the tour yesterday because we saw things that weren't so famous! We saw the areas where all the rich and famous live, where many scenes of gossip girl where filmed in the upper east side, Harlem, which was actually Better than I initially expected...

The next two days were filled with exploring this city as much as we could. In the morning Franny and I decided to book at ticket on a hop on hop off bus that took you all around the city. Although it was pretty expensive for us poor backpackers, it was so worth it because we got to see EVERYTHING.
