Wow! First day of top deck!
We woke up bright an early, that's 530 abs headed downstairs to meet everyone! It was a pretty small tour which is BRILLIANT, no waiting for people, a full seat to ourselves etc! We met our tour guid too, Carley, who was really cool rock chick from Melbourne.
Most of the others on the trip were Aussie or kiwi too and were really nice, except for a lack of boys, sorry franno!!
We had Brekky at the hostel and then bi farewell to London for a day mostly of traveling to Paris!
We started with a bus ride which was two hours to the white cliffs of Dover which were pretty cool towering above everything. We then hopped on the biggest ferry ever to get over the English channel. For a channel that someone is able to swim it still took 90 mins to get from one side to the other!
The ship itself was crazy, it was more like a shopping mall! With 7 or 8 cafes abs restaurants, casinos and bars, kids play area and department store! ON A BOAT it was crazy.
We got off and it was freezing, but we got to hop onto the bus straight away which was great! We then drove into Paris and it was so cool to see the French countryside! Really cool old school chalets and farm houses!
We arrived in Paris after hours and hours of traveling so we were pretty tired, walking around in the sun was good to wake up!
We learnt how to put up the tents, then attempted to actually put them up before having a good ol camp dinner prepared by the tour's chef, rhee.
Then it was time for the Paris city lights tour! We hopped back on the Coach and Carly took us around all the sites of pairs by night, it was stunning, so great to be able to see all of the sites that we might miss the next day. The tour ended with watching The Eiffel tower sparkling as it does at night.
It was magical - Cant wait to go around tomorrow to see everything again!
