And let it snow!!
The train ride from Milan to St Anton was fantastic. The scenery changed from beautiful countryside, all green and lush, to mountains, cliff faces and snow covered everything!
As for the little town of St Anton, simply picturesque, although it was bustling with countless tourist and extra staff, there was still a quiet and relaxed ambience.
We had accomodation in a nice little spot, 5 mins walk from the main town section and countless ski lifts. We had a view of a little garden right outside our window, and loved watching the snow fall most days.
In various spots on top of the mountains are places to eat and drink with spectacular views of the mountains, as well as great spots to watch the skiiers and boarders fly by.
We were told about a great little place for drinks and "best nachos in town" by some Norwegians we got talking to, so we decided to check it out. Well funny thing is, this place was run by a bunch of Aussies.. we had a little taste of home. On a side note, I tried the nachos, they were average.. worst bit was they made me incredibly sick. Those Norwegians were so wrong.
Seeing as we came here to snowboard we didnt see or do a great deal else. We ate, drank, boarded, looked at mountains, and yes I made a snow angle. 4 nights later, we were off again, on our way to Munich.
