Georgetown, Pulau Pinang....nope, hadn't heard of it begore either. But what a gem, so interesting here - lots of colonial history and Sharan and i loved investigating the fort, the old buildings, Little India, chinatown - beautiful veggie meals here, i will never scoff at the veg option again! Stayed at a great little hostel, '75' where the friendly Mr Lee made us feel right at home.

Got a shave from a be-mulleted barber - quite brave - and he kindly trimmed my nose hairs without warning, what a nice fella!

Great few days here - caught very comfortable bus to Kuala Lumpur via the Georgetown bridge - nice views.
