Well, I've just finished my week in New York. The first few days I spent at White Plains in upstate NY with Juice (Pat) my housemate from Australia. Pat gave me the authentic NY experience by taking me to an Aussie pub in Manhatten and then the next night to an aussie restaurant (The Outback) where we drunks good old Fosters. You just can't get anymore American than that...But having said that, Pat and I had a blast together. We also went to a Yankees game in the Bronx which was a blast, as well as kicking the football in Central Park. The second part of the week was spent on a short 3 day Contiki tour or New York city. We have a great hotel on the upper westside, and between all the partying I managed to cram in most of major touristy things (empire state building, helicopter flight over New York, Statue of Liberty, Time Square, World Trade Centre, Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Rockafella Centre, Madison Square Garden, Central Park, blah blah blah). But this literally is just the tip of the iceberg. I definately need to go back sometime as there's still so much to do. I've had a ball, but London and Germania await. Go the Socceroos!!!
