Well had a relaxing time in KL, not been at my peak of health so tried to get some recovery in. Guess what strikes though today- the deadly dodgey stomach! panic sets in when you run to a toilet here- you only get about 10 seconds before you have serious issues. Headed back to KL as it's the hub of travel in Malaysia. Got a VIP bus which is awesome massive reclining seats. The theory being you can sleep the reality is very difficult. They drive like nutters here and the roads aren't good. Just left Tioman islands after 6 days there- a truely wonderful place with great mix of people. A must visit island for anyone going through Malaysia and wants to get off the tourist track. Today- we got bus across to Mersing to get ferry across to Tioman islands tomorrow. Just has some great tom yum and then plate of melay curry/ chinese chicken. Mersing is really just a fishing boat place you pass through. Though we stayed in rubbish hotel where we were practically in reception- so bright lights and noise- nice! I've probably forgotten a thousand things so far. Will update soon.

Well what to say. My blog may start to sound like a bar crawl- not because that is what i'm doing but in general that's how I locate places. I walked from chinatown to petronus towers yesterday- a fair walk by all accounts. I'm trying to walk everywhere not for cheapness but for the experience.
