Soooo sorry for taking so damn long to get in touch with you two, my deepest apologies!! Anyhoo sounds like yer having a too good a time out there to miss us All things are good here except the weather which caused me to fall of my bike today and bruise my ribs, very embarrasing... Wish we could be coming out to see too you but am off on a typically cheapo British holiday to Malaga next week. Atleast we'll escape the rain for a while! Anyway shall stop this boring talk and let ya get back to yer adventures, keep safe. Lots a Love C&Jxx

Hope you've escaped the 'hotel California' and have reached the border safely. As i predicted, i am now suffering from the female strain of 'man flu' I suppose you could call it bird flu...only that sounds almost as serious as 'man flu'! I've taken to my bed, only because it is Sunday and I can. Will still be able to do omnibus Eastenders, wine (medicinal) and a burnt (slightly modified, to save my energy) roast dinner. I can't believe that you have been gone for a (whole) month now. Only 12 months to go ( like my weeks...bakers months!). Seems everyone will be in Australia whilst you are there. Thought about it myself, but i'm affraid Micky Mouse won the vote and we are going to Florida instead. Everyone sends their love and best wishes (just wish they would make the effort to message you themselves...they know who they are!). Lots of love and sniffles XXXXX

Hi Guys! I can barely bring myself to read about your adventures I'm so jealous but sounds like you're having an amazing time! A bit of news for you, Phil and I am coming to Australia in December so hopefully we can all meet up! I have asked if I can have 5 weeks off so we can fly out beginning of December and see the new year in in Sydney before coming home. I'm waiting to hear back from Rob/Steve to see if I'm allowed but if I cant do 5 weeks I will go for 4 instead. Will keep you posted! xx

Well done Jake for mentioning the words killed and Columbia in the same (rather long!) sentence. All is well here too. Jake has a nasty cold and sneezed all over the laptop whilst compiling his message, guess who's about to get a cold?. Please mind Tom's ears when you cut his hair...and do trim the beard or he will look like one of those faces, that look the same either way up...or maybe he always did! Loved the pics, you seem to be having a fantastic time and i hope you continue to do so.
Really enjoy the blogs and others messages too, it's sort of taken over from Coronation Street...if anyone can fill me in?
Pat, let me know how the balloon ride went...sounds fun/dangerous/exciting.
Tom , please don't dangle your 'meat' in pirahna infested waters.
Love to both and all. XXXXX

So glad you are both safe and well despite the bites. I love Tom's blog messages but I love reading everyone else's messages too! Nice to hear from Paul and Helen. Great to hear that Jake did so well in the latest competition too. All well in West Sussex. Pool open. Just miss Victoria cooking the bbq. Off on a hot air balloon ride tonight! Had great conversation with bank manager on your behalf today Tor, about bank charges! He could not talk to me due to data protection but 10 minutes later he said he would try to help!!
Love to you both and anyone reading this!! x

Just uploaded some pics and blogged after getting out of the jungle alive.
Turns out, if you unscrew the main plug off the hair straighteners there´s a two pin plug inside. You should have seen the celebrations when we discovered that one......oh yeah, the Amazon was pretty good too.
Really want some crumpets...don´t know why.
Stay happy...

Hey!
Just seen your Amazon trip pictures - wow, it looks totally amazing! Did your hair straighteners work there Tor?!!
Lovely to see you both looking safe and well! You must be experiencing some amazing things!
Life here is very dull in comparison...still it's half term soon and we're off to Leeds! Mark (John's cousin) and Louise wanted to know how my crazy cousins were?! So I told them all about where you are and what you are doing and they said...yep she's sure crazy and bringing lots of laughs to South America no doubt!!!
Well must go and do boring things like cook dinner and iron husband's shirt for tomorrow....yawn yawn... while you are probably wrestling a huge anaconda somewhere in the jungle!
Miss and love you lots
Helen
