Another public holiday in Cusco today; not quite sure what it`s all about...lots of blokes walking around in white balaclavas getting the living piss kicked out of them by thousands of locals.

Hi Hun, Still missing you loads. Went to the Epsom Derby at the weekend, got all poshed up in hat an all. Couldn't believe the hat cost £50 quid though, outrageous!! so I carefully reapplied labels, wrapped it back up and explained to the shop keeper it didn't match my dress. Thank goodness she did't spot me on the tv footage. (I was the one whooping like Pretty Woman).
Felt quite rough on Sunday, 12 hours of drinking champers does that though!
Back to the reality of cooking, cleaning, etc.
Did i tell you my brother and missus had their baby. Little boy called Harry Andrew Cooper. Going to see them this weekend so will email pics next week.
Getting rid of Matthew, fab book. James read it too and thought it was good until the end where it "goes all girlpower and the man loses everything" he reckons that would never happen in real life. He doesn't watch Trisha!
Hi Pat & Katherine, hope you are well. Pat, if you need a replacement messy, stroppy child, you can look after Sam for a couple days!
Anyway you two take care, stop frightening your mothers.
Love Cheryl.xx

Whew... great to read your blog! Glad you are having such a good time. Nan got your letter yesterday Tor, she was delighted! Iris back in nursing home - it is her birthday today (84). John and Dom down last weekend - they are so lovely (my garden looks great!).
Don't worry about fan mail dropping off - know everyone checks for blog messages all the time! I am sure they will be disappointed not to read about Kaz's adventures too!! Keep in touch. Love you very much. xxxx

So glad you're well and happy and have Father Kevin at your disposal. Would like to tell you all about my adventures at the weekend but my laptop is about to go into hibernation and Jake has taken the charger to Carley's. Will send you a seperate email about the weekend (not reading for the faint hearted, or my parents!) on his return. Lots of love XXXXX

Hi Guys
Am getting increasingly jealous by your adventures and increasingly confused by Tom's explicit details of passport stamps! All sounds a lot of fun though. Tor- nan is missing you lots. Apparently I'm not good enough to be your replacement!
Peckham is as lively as ever, I reckon its a dangerous as Columbia though- hee! Went to Solvakia in half term- lots of fun. Spent a day in Vienna. Home this weekend for Mum's rocking work BBQ- can't wait! Pimms all round. May swim if its hot...!! Lots of love xxxx

Toyed with the idea of writing a message in the guise of Edwin Gomez, Columbian arms dealer, but that would potentially tip my mum and Pat over the edge.
Both very safe and enjoying Cusco (that`s a place, not a drink).
Thanks for all your messages...although they´re slowing down a bit...do you want to make us cry?
Love you all, just off to get my bullet wound re-bandaged.

Are you quite mad? Just been reading about Columbia and I quote....'sadly. Columbia is as dangerous than ever to travel in. Several thousand kidnappings a year and high levels of guerilla and paramilitary activity remain part of daily life for Columbians'. So if you are still there and haven't yet been kidnapped please leave by the nearest exit! Please blog soon. Lots of love XXXXXXXXX

Thanks Victoria.
Don't need messages like that! Karen (I know) and myself worry enough without knowing you are in Columbia! Get across the border to Peru quick and go and find Father Kevin (Nan would be pleased!). Too upset to write any news, so will email you separately over the weekend.... Love and hugs to you both. x
