We didn’t know where to stay on the island so we decided to tag along with this American couple too the south of the island, we got to the very south and we discovered that the prices were too high and was directed to the next beach and that is where we stayed for 3 nights!!

Ko samet was great we played volleyball with some locals on the beach, ate lovely thai food off the pier at our resort, hired mopeds and chilled.

Hiring the mopeds was great fun, well for me as I was sensible and went slow but Ben and Jacob were a little crazy!! Now the mopeds were not the most successful forms of transport mainly because they resulted in Jacob and Ben having a crash.

They are both ok but Jacob was in a very bad way, I was so scared!! I had to ride across the island to get a 4x4 taxi to pick Jake up!! He got a speed boat off the island and went to hospital and had 3 areas on his head stitched up and 2 cuts below and one above the eye stitched up!! Also his head was so swollen, not to add the intensive grazing all over his right hand side!! Mental!!

Me and Simon stayed on the island for one extra night whilst ben and jake were staying in ban pee. We met them and headed to Bangkok to put Jacob on the plane.

Man there is too much to write this is one bad thing but there are lots of good things!!!
