Well - the bit about Korkut was supposed to have been a clue as to the next destination - but i got a bit carrried away and Kazakhstan will have to wait for a while - it's Armenia next - unless Georgia wakes up, in which case it'll be Georgia next & then Armenia........

So - i got my new biorhythmic passport with its organic groove (it's taking me to funky town) (got the flares, the shades and the fluorescent shirt) - and can resume travelling........

I am due to return to Blighty - which apparently comes from the Hindustani for "home" (vilayati - pronounced bilati) - which was then picked up by British troops serving abroad - on Wednesday 13th May - a mere 98 days since leaving....

I've got see if Mr B can get me table at The Appletree Inn before it closes on the 23rd - www.appleinn.co.uk - and wish the gorgeous Melanie & the superb TJ well in their next venture........

Despite being incredibly lazy, i've really enjoyed being here for 3 weeks courtesy of Lucy and her swish appartment in Sukhumvit - feel quite the local now (yeah, right)...........

And i'll have to come back to visit Isan & revisit Laos...
