Well we're still here and gues what it only bloomin raining!!! not just a shower, it's torrential. It started last night and hasn't stopped all day today, but it hasn't stopped us hardened travellers! we went on a tours of the largest favela in all of latin america today. it was mad, houses built on top of each other and little windy paths inbetween the houses. it was really sad to see peple living in such squalour, but they were all really happy and welcoming. we also met a group of graffiti artists who showed us their studio and all their work which depicted the problems faced in the favelas. it was incredible art and we purchased a little one that was made by a twelve year old called Carlos who they teach at the community centre. We visited a daycare centre aswell and played with all the little kids who were really happy and energetic. now we're in the hostel waiting for the rain to slow down a bit, so we can go to the shop and buy some fish for dinner.
