We stayed on the outskirts of Lisbon at a place called Costa de Caprica and travelled into Lisbon for the day on the local bus.  We caught the 10.30 bus and didn't get back until 8 p.m.  Lisbon has many different interesting areas too many to visited we just concentrated on the Barrio Alto a fashionable 17th century residential area now Lisbon's Soho with vintage boutiques, restaurants boho bars and cafes.  We took a sightseeing bus which was a good way to see everything due to its vastness.  On the day we went the weather changed and it was a dull and cold day although it did warm up a bit in the afternoon but not much!!
