My 5 day whirlwind tour of SE Wales included taking in the sights of Cardiff, Swansea, the wee town of Ystradglynais, up to Brecon, Monmouth, then down the Wye Valley to Chepstow. I visited the oldest castle on the Welsh border, Chepstow castle and the last castle of its era in the area, Raglan Castle.

Hi all, doing the wheat harvest in Essex. Working with 2 other kiwis and a saffa on 2,500 acres of wheat and rapeseed. I drive a John Deere 3650 with trailer of 15ton capacity. Driving through old villages with quaint thatched roof houses, and plenty of expensive cars on the road, so have to stay alert!

Hi all, In Inverness working as a marshall in The Adrenaline Rush adventure race. The race covers over 450 km split into hiking, cycling and kayaking stages. Lasting over 4 days, there are around 25 teams of 4 competing. I am marshalling at a check point on Loch Ness, its a beautiful spot not far from Eilean Donan castle, pictured. More later!

Hi all, Just started work for John and Elizabeth Magowan on their dairy farm in Mountnorris. Johns father actually bought part of their farm from my grandad when the Barbour sold up to come out to NZ way back when, so its awesome to be another Barbour working on the land again, generations later. We milk about 110 cows, and John also makes cheese from the milk. More later!
