Weather is nicer today, bit chilly. Yesterday went on a circular walk past 'The Rocks' (nice views from there inc. of the Keyworth house) and a 16th century church, past the Lac au Duc and along the river for a bit, then back along the Voie Verte. Managed not to get rained on. Off home today, have had a nice relaxing time.

Yesterday we went out for a quick ride on the tandem tricycle. John did not find it very easy to steer. Was a bit precarious. You can't lean to steer. Picked a few more mushrooms before the cows are moved and trample them. Been doing puzzles and watching Blackadder in the evenings. Lit the pumpkins me and Diane carved last night, spooky! Today the glorious weather has run out and it's raining fairly hard. Temperature outside 17.2 degrees.

Went to Ploermel market this morning, then went on a walk called 'The Way of the 2 Rivers' for 2 3/4 hours - the two rivers being West Canal and Yvel. Just roasted some chestnuts on the fire - yummy. Been doing lots of my puzzle book and eating nice homemade cakes and drinking locally bottled cola. Weather was lovely again today - wore shorts on my walk.

Went for a cart ride yesterday. Jack had to pull 4 of us up a big hill. Weather here is lovely. 22 degrees in the shade. Today helped chop down some dead trunks from a coppiced tree - I was keeping an eye out for ongoing traffic in the track in case the tree came down - had a red flag to alert traffic.
