Arrived in Varanasi to spectacular views of the Ganges from our hotel rooftop. It really felt as special as people had been telling us, and we were preparing for a nice relaxing couple of days. Khajaraho is the town of erotic temples, so off we went to play 'spot the dirtiest sculpture' game! There were many to choose from... according to one of the sculptures, even horses can be man's best friend! There are 3 sets of temples here, the largets of which are the Western Temples followed by the Eastern and finally Southern. We arrived here when everything was closing, so had to act fast on accommodation.
