I was so relieved when mum and dad picked me up from the kennel at Hervey bay. I had spent 3 nights there and on the first night got so grumpy that I shredded my bed and all my blankets which wasn't very smart because that meant I was cold for the next 2 nights. I was so happy to see mum and dad and I think they were even happier to see me.
We travelled from Hervey bay to Caboolture which is a suburb about the same distance from Perth to Armadale and looks a bit similar. We booked into the show grounds for a week so that mum and dad can do the touristy stuff but not have to stay in the middle of Brisbane. I love it here because there was a horse event on at the Queensland state equestrian centre which just happens to be next door but the best bit is there a big oval right behind us where I get to run around like a crazy dog, which I am. Mum gave me a new squeaky toy and I ran around and around squeaking it for an hour! I wouldn't play fetch I just had dog time and entertained myself! Mum and dad just laughed and laughed at me.
We went for a drive to Bribie Island which was just beautiful and I got to swim at the beach!!!! I was so excited and there are no crocs or stingers!! And the sand is white!! Mum and dad were so happy.
Yesterday and the day before I went to day care while mum and dad went to Australia Zoo then to Sea world. I had a great time at day care and the best bit was that mum and dad picked me up so I didn't have to sleep there. Just between you and me all the rules have been broken on this trip! I get to sleep in bed with mum and dad every night and I lay on the bed with them while watching telly oh boy it is so good! I want to be on holiday forever! The only down side is I have to have regular baths because mum says I am stinky but I don't mind. I wonder how I am going to keep this up when I get home?
Dad and mum loved Australia zoo and Seaworld and although it was a bit expensive and touristy for them they said it was fun and was worth the drive from Caboolture.
Caboolture is right near the Glass House mountains and is quite central. We braved a drive into Brisbane and although it was quite stressful at times it was worth having a look and a walk along Southbank.
Today we are packing up to head off again and we hope to cross the border tomorrow into New south Wales how exciting!!

Jo Watching the blog and the trip looks wonderful and full of adventure. A lot better than here, as we pack up and move into HQ on Monday, 13th.
