The drive from Queensland to NSW was weird. The freeway just kept going and going and when we came to the border it was just a sign on the side of the road. We couldn't stop for a photo so mum just took one as we drove along. The weather is lovely although quite cold at night. Our first night in NSW was interesting! It is quite clear that the truckies on the road hate caravaners with a passion! We have experienced this all over Australia but at this free spot called little Italy, which was located right next to a residential area, it was really really bad. We have heard a lot of truckie verbal abuse over the cb but here the truckies decided that the three caravans parked in the specific bay for 24hr stop overs for caravans would be a great place to sound their horns all night long. Not just a quick blast but a long drawn out honk. I didn't get any sleep and I bet neither did any of the poor people living right next door. With that aside NSW is really beautiful so we decided to try the coast again and headed to a spot called Moonee Beach just near Coffs Harbour. The park and surrounding area is one of the best caravan park and most scenic we have stayed at. Although the water was freezing I got swim every day. We did some brilliant 4 wheel driving in the state forest which resembled Walpole and Pemberton but even hillier and looked around Coffs and at the big banana. They like things big over here.
