Hi all, glad to see that my update from germany worked. We left Germany this morning and headed to Heidelberg Castle and then onto Strasbourg in France. We are now in Switzerland and it is absolutely breathtaking. I am just so impressed. The weather is very misty and about 15 degrees currently. We are staying in Hotel Europe in Engelberg near Lake Lucerne in a hotel with loads of character, it reminds me of the really old style hotels of the 40s. We are heading up the mountain tomorrow. I have to say that Europe is more than I imagined, so glad I came. Our tour guide Natasha is a real mother hen, she is so lovely though, she seemed a little abrasive at first but she is just really committed to making this experience great for all of us.
