Working hard over here and very jealous of you too having so much fun in the sun - we may even get some snow in blighty this weekend, its f***ing cold anyway! Dad and I off to pictures tonight to see 'The Aviator'. Not much else to report really as nothing i could say is anywhere near as exciting as what you guys are up to! Just keep having fun and brighten our days with your on-line photo's whenever you can - it's what keeps us going!

Thanks for keeping up with our trip and for keeping in touch so far. It's really nice to hear from you all when we do and especially funny to see the international debate over best pickle. I have to say that Doris Coutt's recipe for Christmas pickle is unsurpassed and shall never be beaten or even rivalled by any other pickle in this universe and I am still waking up in fits of sweat and tears due to missing my annual fix of Ham Eggs and Christmas Pickle this Christmas. If it gets any worse I may have to return early however I am currently in talk with the Australian Givenrment and their health department lobbying to have Christmas Pickle added to the Flying Doctors medical kit.
We apologise ofr the lack of recent photos. this is due to the expense of internet time in the Cafe's. It takes bloody ages to upload the damn things and often crashes resulting in us spening money with no reluts after an hours ofattempted updating so i am going to go round a friends soon who now lives in Coogee, near where we are in Boindi whre we can use his machine for free. Watch this space

Hi you two. Hope you had a great New Year. I seem to have 'lost' New Year's Day somewhere along the line!!! I was escorted to my cabin at about 3am after some awsome celebrations and next saw the light of day at 5pm on 1st Jan. Ooops.!! The whole holiday thing on the ship was fantastic. Tim wrote, produced, directed and starred in the Christmas show - yes, I have the video - sorry!!, you have one very proud Mom here !!! Hawaii was wonderful if a little wet. Honalulu in the rain was not on the agenda, but hey! who cares.
I've sold the house now and am hoping to move in Feb, so you must come and see me in my new little house when you get back. It's only a couple of miles away from here. You get to go to the Green Man again and maybe another great steak in the other pub !!! Gran and Jen spent Christmas together and are both well.

Hey Helga and Lars!!!! Hope you didn't break too many glasses singing in that German pub the other night! Must have been a sight and sound knowing your beautiful voice Jo!!! hee hee ;0) Well it must be coming up to that time for you guys! Just over 2 hours left for you two to celebrate the new year!!! Have a great time on your bridge cheering the New Year in watching the fireworks over the Harbour and seeing my favourite building (Opera House)!! So, HAPPY NEW YEAR IN SYDNEY!!!!! Missed you both terribly at Christmas but still had a good time - watched latest Harry Potter DVD (Dads pressie from Jon!) on the new plasma TV and cinema surround sound - it was fantastic!!
Just seen first pics of leah - cousin Gemma's baby - she looks absolutely beautiful - can't wait to see her in Jan.

Going to auntie Kathryn's tomorrow for New Year bash - dickie bow and lots of champers - julie and steve also coming.

Jonny boy at home with Hannah (yes he's still going out with the same one!) + mike and his girlfriend also coming round for dinner (Jonny boy is cooking!!) then they're going into the village to celebrate with the Scottish piper and walk from the clocktower down the High Street. No doubt he won't have called in any of the pubs in the village on the way !!!!!!!!!!!

Carry on having a fantastic time, look forward to seeing the pics from Sydney Harbour bridge and from the top of the bridge when you have done the climb.
