LUGING
ROTORURA - NORTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND.

Are you getting old and don't like it? Do you feel your inner Ricky Bobby coming out and you want to go fast. Then you HAVE to go luging in Roturura. In fact, even if you don't feel like that... - you HAVE to go Luging in Rotorura. For just $45 (when brought through Base Hostel) which include your Gondola (Skycar thing) ride up to the top then 5 Luges down (trust me - one is not enough!) - this for me is definitely one of the best and cheapest things I have done...EVER!
Imagine playing Mario Karts but instead of playing Mario Karts - it's your actual life for that couple of hours! Don't forget your banana skins.
So simple and yet so much enjoyment you can't help but smile for hours. You just get to the top, grab a helmet, get in a go kart, choose 1 of the 3 tracks and get on rolling down that bendy steep hill. The only rule to remember is "no racing" (Winky face - you should definitely race your friends.) This is one thing I will definitely doing again on the way back up!!
