Wow what another incredible day! Today we packed up camp and drove about 60kms to Mt Barnett to refuel and turn off towards Manning Gorge. Yesterday marked the start of our Gibb River Rd adventure. We packed up camp from Kununurra and headed along the hwy to the start of the Gibb. The road initially alternated between bitumen and gravel and was a little bumpy but not too bad. Another incredible day today. It started early with a 5am wake up to be at the airfield by 5:30 to board our planes for a 2hr scenic flight over Lake Argyle and The Bungle Bungles. Smallest plane ever, it had seven seats and we all had to wear headsets to hear the pilot talking. The sunrise was amazing and flying over the massive lake was spectacular.
