We arrived in Colonia in the evening, and made our way to the nearest cashpoint to withdraw more dollars to exchange in Argentina.
The next day we woke up to a tropical storm with torrential rain and the thunder and lightening, which made going outside not so appealing. Towards lunchtime the rain stopped and we went out to explore the town, which didn't take very long. The cobbled streets and old white houses were very pretty and the old lighthouse which is the main attraction in Colonia. After that we went on the ferry back to Buenos Aires to stay on the "posh" side of town.
