Only 2 hours away from bariloche we spent the weekend in el Bolson, a very quiet place and very poorly laid out in terms of infrastructure all of the hostels and places to stay are outside the centre, it took us over an hour to find our hostel carrying all our stuff. We eventually found it and had dinner and planned our trek for the next day.
The next day we trekked up to the mirador Rio azul which overlooked all of el bolson and the surrounding mountains, and the blue river. Back at the hostsel there was a really ill Spanish lady staying in our dorm and all she did was sleep and at night she just coughed and coughed she was very annoying. We also think she tried to steal Sarah's lame sleeping mask thing.
The following day we did another trek to the blue river, we walked and walked for ages until we literally stumbled on a campsite next to the river, we sat and ate lunch and ben fell in the river getting his bum wet, which dried quickly in the heat. Next came the task of walking home and in the heat and the fact we had no idea how we got to the campsite was tricky, eventually we found our way out and about a quarter of the way home we decided to hitchhike a ride back to el Bolson, when the second car passed he pulled over and gave us a lift to the edge of the town, and our Spanish came in handy to chat to the driver (Juan) on the way home.
The next day we packed and are heading back to bariloche for a week to do another Spanish school.
