Leaving Siem Reap with all the temples and photos behind, we are taking the high-tec bus (with TV AND wifi!) for the 6 hour drive to Phnom Phen. We arrive 3 really irrelevant movies later in Cambodia's capital.

BBQ, Cambodian style! The chef was bringing us these beef delicacies (all kinds of innards as far as we know), as well as making sure there is enough beer on the table (we ended up drinking only one, as we were already good and tipsy from the vernissage before).

... and of course, we also went to the vernissage the next day (free booze AND canapés!) plus an open air slideshow of photos at the FCC (foreign correspondents club).

Who would have thought that we would see some of the best b/w photography of our lives in Cambodia? After accidentally stumbling (or rather:biking) upon McDermott's gallery and finding some fantastic images of the old temples (made with infrared film), our appetite for more made us go to an exhibition opening at another gallery which was part of the Photo Festival that was just starting... lucky us!
