Today we drove up into Kangaroo Valley (**"have no idea why its called that") which is about 1hour from Nowra. The long windy rainforest roads into the valley took us into a extremly loud Insect concert. Apparently the insects live underground for 7years only to come out for severall weeks, have sexy time then die. Just so happened we chose to come in those peacful (not) severall weeks. After buying some much needed flyspray we hired some kayaks for a couple of hours and headed down the river. It was stunning views with literally only us, a few hundred bearded dragons and severall ducks enjoying the beauty of the place. The evening that followed involved severall close encounters with wild wombats (including one waking us up scratching itself on our campa) and watching a couple of kangroos have a scuffle. The next day we got up and went to see some waterfall that itself wasnt that spectacular, the views though were out of this world.
