I had to cross the border to Paraguay, just to say I have been. It was a chaotic border town, and I spent a couple of hours browsing through cheap electronic stores. I was delighted to find "Wet Ones" in Paraguay finally, to replenish my dwindling supply (could not find them in Brazil any where!!)

The Iguassu Falls are breathtakingly beautiful, and are made up of 275 waterfalls. I am disappointed that my photos have not done justice to the beauty of this place. We spent the first afternoon taking in the panoramic views of the falls from Brazil (75% of the falls are on the Argentinian side, and 25% on the Brazilian side), and the second day exploring the falls up close on the Argentinian side. Another beautiful colonial town. A few of us took a bus out to Penha today to visit a waterfall, and a cachaça distillery - after all the caipirinhas we have had, I had to at least see how cachaça is made. This is a very pretty island - with lots of hiking trails and beaches. We spent the last 2 days hiking, and what I desparately need now is a massage. How am I going to survive the Inca trail????????
