That is another idea - I can jack the idea of becoming a novelist, and instead become an actress in my own movie!!!!
David Wood
Wow! The abrupt end to your trip reminded me of the movie "Turistas"...glad it didn't go down that path. I would love to see your trip made into a movie.
I wonder which actress would play Audrey?
Aisha
Audrey - sorry to hear about the unfortunate end to your trip. I have been following the blog and look forward to catching up when you are back in LA. Liz and I were at Eight 18 before Xmas and thought of you - although we may have to find a new wine bar. The cheese selection has gone down hill - since when is Pepper Jack appropriate for a cheese course?
Take care and see you soon - Aisha

Travel magazine? So I have to give up my dreams of a novel - and there I was thinking I could give up my day job!
Anna
Hi Audrey,
So sorry you have to cut your trip short. It seems to have been a fantastic journey nonetheless. You have the makings of a great Travel magazine story!
Merry Christmas and we'll see you in the New Year! - A

Hi Anna & Elizabeth! Thanks for continuing to read the blog. I am hoping to be able to relive my trip when I am back in some dreary office somewhere once I get back to the real world .... which should not be too long away now. Well at least as soon as I get my passport replaced. My backpack was slashed and my money belt stolen (together with my passport and Green Card that was in it. Bast****!!!)
I am bummed about having to miss Colombia - but at least it is really only the last 2 weeks of the trip that I am missing out on now!
Anna
Hi,
I'm terribly behind, at least two countries now but wanted to send a 'Hello'! I did go through a couple of photo albums - love those colonial buildings. Reminds me of Guatemala.

Hi Audrey!
i have just caught up with your blog. You are amazing the way you describe everything - we are almost there with you!
I really hope that you are having a great time. Enjoy it for the rest of us here in cold Europe!
Take Care - i look forward to catching up on the phone sometime.

Hi Nerrissa, David & Anna: LA seems a long way away especially just having done our 3 day crossing through the desert in Bolivia. I have heard some of the latest gossip - I turn my back for 3 months and the entire Disney IT is in turmoil????
Hey Madelon of the hammock people! I am envious that you have managed to see so much more of Argentina than we did. I liked Bariloche but I preferred Puerto Varas and Pucon in Chile - it was not actually too cold but you should be prepared for the temperatures to drop at nights. Keep me posted with your travels! Take care.
Nerrissa
Hi Audrey! Thinking of you and enjoying your blog. Looks and sounds like it's spectacular. Thanks for keeping us up to date with your travels. Stay safe and have a wonderful journey!

Is that snow on Volcano Villarica? Brrrrr! How will Audrey survive the cold?
David
Your photos are fabulous and it's wonderful you get to see so much!
Definitely makes one want to journey and explore. Safe and happy travels, Audrey.
