Praia de Pipa is a pleasant little beach village.... although I am feeling a little beached out having travelled from 1 beach to another over the last 2 weeks, and am looking forward to a change of scene - hard life, isn't it? I finally took a break from vegetating in my hammock yesterday morning ... and went for a 2 mile run on the beach, followed by yoga and a swim, and paid the price later - I was feeling sore all over!

We had a little toga party at the pousada last night - Zema cooked, and we all had a caipirinha workshop with Danny (who runs the pousada) - and we took it in turns to test out our new skills. 2 bottles of cachaça later, and I was ready to retire by 1am, whilst the rest went out partying till 5 am. I went out for a walk to the bay this morning, and I did not think to bring my suncream, nor sunglasses nor swimsuit. Just I was ready to cut short my walk, I caught sight of dolphins swimming in the bay - about 50 ft from the beach. No, I did not have a swimsuit - but that did not stop me from plunging straight into the sea to swim with the dolphins. What a treat!
