Day Twenty Eight February 2

This is sadly our final day in French Polynesia. From most points on the island you can see Mount Otemanu that is 2,385 feet in elevation.

Today was lunch at Bloody Mary's with the friends we met on the cruise who left the ship in Papeete. They say Bloody Mary's claim to fame is where the Bloody Mary drinks were initially created. Janice says they are good although she prefers Bloody Caesar's, the canadian version. Another high light of the restaurant especially for Janice is watching the resident cats strolling around. This time we watcheed a kitten chase a baby iguana.

For supper, we were invited to join a lovely couple Carolyn and Paul who currently live in Emsworth, the town where I was born in England. They are the ship host and hostess for this world cruise.
