We're ready for our road trip!
We will set off tomorrow in our campervan for 10 days where we finish in Adelaide. It's around 3000km. Our main stop will be Uluru but along the way we want to visit Litchfield National Park, Devil's Marbles, Kings Canyon, an Area 51, a mining town which includes underground houses and a church plus much more. We're both really excited. Hopefully we're well prepared! We've worked hard to be! Poor Ben still has no bag so we're never seeing that again. Really gutted. But he's bought a few bits to keep him going.
We've been out the last couple of nights. Darwin is a strange place, even the non-local Aussies say so. We've seen a fair few fights and 3 people arrested in 2 days and in the pubs everyone is huge!
I can't wait to get out of our hostel. The lads are quite nice but not to live with. They're so noisy and inconsiderate. We get woken up so much every night. If they're the same tonight I'll make sure I wake them up when we're up early in the morning!
Can't wait to see some wild kangaroos in the outback as long as they don't jump in front of the van!!!! We probably won't have any internet whilst on the road so it'll be a while until I blog.
