After a morning tour of Yellowstone we set out for Cody, travelling through the Shoshone Canyon and the Absoroka Rocky Mountains still in the high country. Yellowstone had lived up to our expectations.

We visited the Buffalo Bill Centre of the West and it was very informative not -with-standng a lot of the content was about Cody's life. The centre sensitively dealt with the indian issues as well as recoding their lifestyle and beliefs. We wer surprised by how advanced north american aboriginal peoples were compared wit Australian aboriginals at about the same timeperiod, late 1800's. Two hours was not enough to get the most out of this experience.

However we moved on to Billings Montana
