Chris here,decided it was time for my first blog entry. However firstly im going to backtrack a couple days or perhaps weeks. Over the last 12 days we were traveling as a group, all of us met on the slow boat from the lao boarder up to Luang Prabang. Have to say that in my opinion, it was perhaps one of the best decisions we we have taken on this trip so far. Met 2 crazy germans, 2 equally crazy canadians and 2 good chaps(english), over that time who we traveled with. Main point of this paragraph is that I had a f***ing great time with them, and are by far the coolest people i've met on this trip so far.

Ok now back to the present, right now im sitting in a internet cafe in dendok, one of the 4 or so thousand islands in southern lao.
The traveling down from vientiene, was err interesting to say the least. We shared a bed with 2 other brits and a crazy lao guy who came into our bed during the night lol.
For me, I hardly got any sleep last night, but hey thats a part of the fun I guess.

After we got out of the bus though, now that was interesting, harry asked a lady who was asking if anyone was going to the islands if there was any room, and as luck had it there was 2 tickets available. So we walked about 4 metres into the back of a tuktuk and there we were on our journey towards the islands.
