hello blog readers

im gona try to get back upto date with my blogs because on the last one i wasexplaining the visa"problems" so ididnt tell you about "ralaigh"(think i spell it wrong but never mind).

after 10 days in the retreat i had a couple of days before i had to renew my visa so i jumped on a mini van down to krabi,not really knowing where i was going except it had to be a beach with a bar!!!!

after the bus driver tried to drop me in the middle of nowhere.(so a taxi driver could charge a fortune to do the last 5 km)and i refused to get off the bus for 5 mins i finally arrived in a place called krabbi. after consulting the guide book i took a boat to tonsai beech in ralaigh,not really knowing what to expect..

where i ended up can only be descibed as perfect!!!!iv put some photos on but if you want to get a taste of what ralaigh is like you can watch the james bond film"the man with the golden gun"huge cliffs towering over palm fringed beaches.

the place was a mecca for rock climbers and where ever you looked on the cliffs you would see "crazies" clinging to the rocks , they looked like insects from the beach!! i did a half day course and loved it, kayakng was great to, the veiws and the cliffs made it unforgettanle but i forgot to take my camera (sorry).the backpacker beach i stayed on was party beach and one of the best bars i have ever been in was on the beach,the reggea "chill out bar".i only spent three nights there but i am gonna try to get back there

when i left i had to head to ranong for my visa which i have mentioned in an earliear blog, but i didnt mention what a great little town it was. it had a great market , a little public park with hot springs"free" and a elephant taxi to get you around.my visa got sorted bythe owner of the "kiwi orchid" jai was a savour and after she took the mick for an hour after i finished my blog she rang her brother(who worked at immgration) she worked her magic and in the morning took me over and got my stamp with no fuss, no bribes and no prison!!!

anyone reading this who is in thailand and needs a visa please get the bus to ranong, the bus will drop you outside the kiwi orchid (the bus station) jai will charge 400baht!!!! and take you where you need to go and tell you what you need to do, you will also need 10$us for the burma immigration, thanks jai xxx

from ranong i caught the bus to chumphon, got the night ferry to koh toa where i have started my scuba diving.
