When i arrived at hot water beach i went Kayaking to cathedral cove etc tiring but good fun. Then that evening we went and dug holes in the beach, which filled with hot water. Nice to relax in them under the stars. We then travelled to waitomo and i went black water rafting - absailed 35m down into a glow worm cave. Climbed out via a selection of waterfalls. Early start from Auckland to paihia yesterday. Straight onto boat to swim with dolphins and went to cathedral cove. Al was ok, but was freezing and no sun :( and the dolphins weren't overally interested in us! BBQ last night. Steak. Made some friends. Some even from somerset. Dad that guy from woollens was on boat n all! Crazy. Off hiking today with izzy from oxford. And up to cape reinga 2mo. Sandboarding, wild horses, 90 mile beach... Back to Auckland on thurs...

Hi all. So i arrived safe and sound. Went straight to bed! Had a walk around Auckland. Got a phone sorted, called the rents. Now back in hostel, in bed with a headache, jet lag n all! So power nap then dinner! Tomorrow ill go see dome touristy stuff, and hopefully iy will have stopped raining! Hope all is well in UK. Love Ashton x
