Hey all!! Im now in byron bay - soooo nice here , sooo hot, like all the time, think i got way too much sun today! Sooo since last time... we went and stayed in Base in Sydney - it was like a hotel, nice showers, rooms and for once a comfy bed :)! Sad to leave that place.
Recharged my batteries though for the gruelling 13 hour bus journey to Byron Bay!
Bus journey was awful, rained the whole way and the driver was just like speeding - didnt sleep too much and when we arrive it was spitting. There is a cyclone in bisbane so think it had something to do with this but it has all passed now.
Staying at Holiday Village backpackers - feel like im on a camping trip i really like it here! Beach is gorgeous as is the sea - crystal clear and warm :) Think i got a bit too much sun on one leg though haha i mustve forgot to reapply suncream when i came out the sea - woops! Jill is just patchy red on here legs - dont worry she slapped on the lavender oil!

So booked the bus leave sunday morning and heading to Surfers Paradise for 3 nights - maybe longer if i fancy it! After this it is up to Brisbane get my RSA and look for work - as much as i dont want to - sadly i am going to have to! Hoping to get an an apartment there too with some of the girls im with.

Yesterday was Kate's birthday (one of the girls im travelling with!) so we celebrated her "23rd" ;) birthday party with party hats, Passion Pop (cheap sparkling wine - its good stuff), we made carbonara and had chocolate birthday cake afterwards followed by more drinks at the clubs! First club we went to was called Cocomangas - full of gay guys haha, one guy was stroking Jills hair and asking what products she used AND tried to pull her hahaha! Then we went to Cheeky Monkeys - its rough as but was fun!! Met nice candian guys as opposed to the ones who are at our hostel - they act like Americans (no offence!!)

Today was spent on the beach chilling out!! So nothing out the usual - it is a hard life indeed!!

So far people have thought my accent is: australian, irish, north american and south african - not one person has guessed im from the Scotland or even the UK! Quite amusing...thats all for now! Be in touch soonish xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
