Hellooooo all. Our flight went perfectly and we have spent the past few days in a rather swish hotel in Bangkok, near Khao San Road. This place is insane! We visited the Grand Palace which was pretty amazing, as for other temple visits we are leaving this until we are back in Bangkok at the end of the month. Everywhere you go people offer you a variety of activities/clothes/food/ping-pong shows...etc, its quite hard to walk down the street without being pestered by somebody, but they all seem friendly enough and we're now used to it. We survived a tuk-tuk journey back from the palace, for anyone who doesn't know its a 3 wheeled suicidal contraption, but it does get you around quickly and cheaply. Tomorrow we set off for Phuket where we're staying for 2 nights in the Karon Princess Hotel, then on to Phi Phi for 2 nights. After this we head for Ko Lanta and from there who knows where we'll go. In a minute we are going to pop by the hotel swimming pool, the only place to escape the humidity. Not that we want to make you all jealous. Until next time, ta taa xx
